01 / Terms of use
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Propertypro website, services, features, and related tools (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Please read these terms carefully, particularly the provisions about property information, transactions, limitations, and dispute resolution.
1. About these terms
In these terms, “Propertypro,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Propertypro website and services. “You” means the person using the Services. “Content” includes text, photographs, videos, listing details, reviews, messages, and other materials made available through the Services. “User Content” means content that you or another user submits, uploads, or makes available.
These terms apply to visitors, account holders, property seekers, owners, agents, brokers, developers, and other users. Additional terms may apply to particular services, promotions, subscriptions, or transactions; if they conflict with these terms, the additional terms govern that service to the extent of the conflict.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. If you use the Services for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on their behalf.
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information, update it when it changes, keep your password and verification codes confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account except to the extent caused by our failure to take reasonable security measures required by law.
We may require identity, contact, ownership, agency, or other verification for particular features. Verification checks do not guarantee a person's identity, authority, title, financial position, or trustworthiness and are not a substitute for your own due diligence.
Using Propertypro
You must use the Services lawfully and in a way that does not disrupt the experience, security, or rights of others. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Property listings and information
Property descriptions, photographs, prices, availability, locations, and other listing details may be provided by property owners, agents, or other third parties. We aim to present information clearly, but listing information may change and should be independently verified with the relevant provider before you make a decision or enter into a transaction.
No transaction or professional advice
Unless we expressly state otherwise, Propertypro provides online tools and information to help users discover and connect about real estate. A listing or introduction does not itself create a sale, tenancy, brokerage, financial, legal, or advisory relationship with Propertypro. Obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, submit false or misleading information, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or copy, scrape, or redistribute content in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Third-party services and links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or tools. Those services are provided by others and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or operation.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services and may revise these terms from time to time. The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. Propertypro does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that third-party listing information is complete, current, or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are subject to applicable laws and any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Contact us with questions or concerns using the support details at the end of this page.
3. Property seeker responsibilities
You are responsible for assessing whether a property suits your requirements and for independently checking its location, condition, title, ownership, approvals, permitted use, measurements, utilities, charges, taxes, availability, pricing, and any other material fact. Arrange viewings and inspections through appropriate channels, use written agreements, and make payments only after verifying the recipient, authority, and transaction terms.
Do not rely on a listing, user profile, badge, message, automated estimate, or communication through the Services as legal, valuation, lending, investment, tax, building, or other professional advice. Propertypro does not guarantee that a listing will remain available or that a property will be sold, rented, financed, or otherwise transacted.
4. Owner, agent, and advertiser responsibilities
If you submit or manage a listing, you represent that the listing is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading; that you have authority to advertise the property and use all submitted materials; and that you will promptly correct or remove information that becomes inaccurate or unavailable. You must disclose material conditions and comply with applicable real estate, consumer, advertising, privacy, anti-discrimination, and licensing requirements.
You must not advertise a property you do not own or have authority to represent, impersonate another person, use another user's contact information without permission, publish discriminatory criteria prohibited by law, or request unlawful deposits or payments. You are responsible for responding to enquiries lawfully and honoring any separate agreement made with a seeker or advertiser.
5. Enquiries, communications, and conduct
When you submit an enquiry, you authorize us to use the contact details and message you provide to route and respond to that enquiry and, where relevant, share it with the listing advertiser or service provider concerned. Do not include sensitive personal, financial, identity, or payment information in a listing enquiry unless a secure feature specifically requests it.
Communications between users are their responsibility. Be cautious of requests to move conversations off-platform, pay before viewing or verifying a property, disclose one-time passwords, or send funds to an unrelated person. Report suspected fraud or unsafe content to our support address.
6. Fees, subscriptions, and payments
If a feature has a fee, the price, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be shown before you confirm a purchase. You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the payment method you supply. Except where law or the applicable offer requires otherwise, fees already paid for a period or completed service are non-refundable. Any cancellation takes effect as described at purchase and does not automatically cancel a separate real estate transaction.
Propertypro does not take custody of deposits, rent, purchase funds, or other transaction monies unless a specific service clearly says so and provides separate terms. Do not treat an enquiry, listing, or account as confirmation that a payment has been received or a transaction completed.
7. User Content and permission to display it
You retain ownership of User Content to the extent you own it. You grant Propertypro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display, distribute, and communicate that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Services. This license ends within a reasonable period after the content is removed, except where retention is required for legal, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
You are responsible for User Content and confirm that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit it and grant this license. User Content must not violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights; contain malware; or be unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or defamatory.
8. Propertypro content and intellectual property
The Services and Propertypro branding, software, design, and materials are owned by or licensed to Propertypro and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, sell, reverse engineer, frame, scrape, or create derivative works from the Services except where applicable law permits or we authorize it in writing.
9. Prohibited activities
You must not: (a) break the law or encourage another person to do so; (b) upload false, fraudulent, discriminatory, or unauthorized listings; (c) harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate any person; (d) collect or use personal information from the Services without a lawful basis and any required consent; (e) send spam or unsolicited marketing; (f) probe, disrupt, overload, bypass security, or introduce malicious code; (g) use bots or automated means to access, copy, index, or extract data without our written permission; or (h) use the Services to compete with or harm Propertypro or its users.
10. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review, correct, restrict, or remove content, and suspend or terminate access, when we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms, respond to a report, or maintain the Services. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. You may stop using the Services and close your account through available account controls or by contacting support. Account closure does not erase information we must retain or content already shared with others.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It forms part of these terms. By using the Services, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described there and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in every circumstance, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not endorse or guarantee users, properties, listings, third-party services, or the outcome of any contact or transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propertypro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, loss of profits, opportunity, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the Services or dealings between users. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to Propertypro for the relevant Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law if greater. These limits do not apply to liability that applicable law says cannot be limited, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct where such exclusion is prohibited.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Propertypro for third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your User Content, or your material breach of these terms. We will notify you of a claim when reasonably practicable and allow you to assist in the defense; you may not settle a claim in a way that imposes an obligation on Propertypro without our consent.
15. Disputes, law, and general terms
We encourage you to contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Propertypro operating entity, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any non-waivable rights that apply in your place of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business reorganization or asset transfer where permitted by law. These terms, together with applicable service-specific terms and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement regarding your use of the Services.
02 / Your information
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Propertypro collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with your use of our website, services, features, mobile applications, communications, and related online tools. It also explains your choices and how to contact us about privacy.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information, including personal information, in connection with your use of our website, services, features, mobile applications, communications, and related online tools. It also explains your rights, choices, data protection measures, and how we aim to ensure transparency, security, and compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations across our digital platforms.
Information We Collect
We collect two main types of information on the Website:
- Personal Information: This includes data that can identify you as an individual, such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address. We collect this information when you voluntarily provide it, for example, by signing up for a newsletter, contacting us through a form, or making a purchase.
- Non-Personal Information: This data cannot be used to identify you directly. It includes details like your browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, browsing activity, and usage statistics. We collect this information automatically through cookies and other tracking technologies.
Depending on the features you use, information may also include account credentials and preferences; property searches, saved listings, viewing requests, and enquiries; information in messages or support requests; listing details and evidence of authority supplied by advertisers; transaction or billing records if you purchase a paid feature; and information you choose to provide in surveys or feedback. Please do not send us sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and requested through an appropriate channel.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the Website working, remember settings, understand usage, protect accounts, and measure communications. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where presented, our consent controls. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality. Browser “Do Not Track” signals may not be recognized by all services.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from a person who submits an enquiry or listing involving you, service providers that help us operate the Website, publicly available sources, or identity and fraud-prevention services where permitted by law. We use such information consistently with this policy and applicable requirements.
How We Use Information
The information we collect allows us to:
- Operate and maintain the Website effectively.
- Send you newsletters or marketing communications, but only with your consent.
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests.
- Improve the Website and your user experience.
We may also use information to authenticate users, maintain and protect the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot issues, administer listings and enquiries, comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims. Where consent is the legal basis for an activity, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Sharing of Information
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Website and delivering our services. These providers are obligated by contract to keep your information confidential and use it only for the specific purposes we disclose to them.
We will not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Depending on how you use the Services, recipients may include the advertiser or agent for a property about which you enquire; hosting, analytics, communications, customer-support, payment, identity-verification, and security providers; professional advisers; and authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect people, rights, and the Services.
If Propertypro is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that event, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. We do not sell personal information for money. Where a law defines certain advertising or analytics disclosures as “sharing” or “selling,” we will provide any required notices and choices.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in a country other than the one where you live, where we or our service providers operate. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and take steps to protect information in accordance with applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We may retain it for longer periods if required or permitted by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, maintain security, or meet legal, regulatory, and business continuity obligations.
Security Measures
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed for any website or internet transmission.
Your choices
You may opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity and applicable exceptions may apply.
You can update certain account details in your account settings. You may disable cookies through your browser. You can withdraw consent for consent-based processing, request a portable copy where the law provides that right, or complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If an authorized representative submits a request, we may ask for proof of authority and identity.
Children's information
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children who are not legally able to enter into property-related arrangements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Third-party websites and services
Our Website may link to external websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing information. This policy does not cover independent advertisers or service providers acting on their own behalf.
How to make a privacy request
Email us at [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” Tell us what you are requesting and the email address associated with the relevant account or enquiry. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or identity documents in an ordinary email. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of changes by posting the revised policy on the Website and updating its effective date. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly to stay informed of updates.
